EKI donation to the Primary School Bartola Kašića, Mostar

Another example of the support that EKI provides to the education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and through it to our youngest citizens, is the donation we are presenting today. It found its way to the Bartola Kašića Primary School in Mostar. Currently, around 350 students acquire fundamental knowledge for the future in this school.

This school covers the enrollment area of students residing in the settlements of Rodoč, Jasenica, and Baćevići. In addition to the central school building, there is also a branch school in Jasenica, attended by students up to the fifth grade. The school has changed locations several times over time, and due to the considerable age of the current building, a continuous process of renewal and reconstruction is being carried out.

The school management approached EKI with a request to procure a school board and geometric tools necessary for conducting mathematics and other natural science classes. EKI acquired and delivered the necessary equipment to the school, hoping that it would be of great benefit to students in their learning and also make teaching easier for their teachers.

During the visit of EKI representatives, the school director expressed great gratitude for this gesture, stating that he was pleasantly surprised by EKI's "Socially Responsible Activities" project and that they are one of the few organizations they had such collaboration with.
