The Micro-Credit Company EKI (MCC EKI) was established in October 2013 through the acquisition of the Microcredit Company Adria in Mostar by the Microcredit Foundation EKI. Following this acquisition, the name of MCC Adria was changed to MCC EKI.
The founder of the Micro-Credit Company EKI is the Microcredit Foundation EKI. MCC EKI, as a company in its early stages, began disbursing credit in June 2014 and quickly achieved excellent results in a short period by capturing a significant share of the microcredit market, as evidenced by the portfolio size and a growing number of clients on a daily basis.
Today, MCC EKI is one of the leading microcredit institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with over 17,000 clients utilizing more than 157,9 million convertible marks in credit. From the very beginning, MCC EKI has adopted a serious and responsible approach to its business, aiming to provide timely, fair, and transparent services to clients, with the goal of establishing a solid foundation for continuous and high-quality operations in the future.
The loans offered by MCC EKI are primarily directed towards improving the businesses of registered farmers and small to medium-sized entrepreneurs.
